Hey there! Thank you so much for being so hospitable again on our stay. I said to Annette tonight how we always feel so welcome and at home at your place and realised I really should have said it to YOU! So there you are. Thank you heaps gorgeous friend!
So has Aden erased us from this year's christmas list yet?
If you go to my blog and link in to 'doing it naturally''s blog (Molly's blog), she has a recent post about a 'sensory garden' - mentions a few more things you could add to the garden and get the kids involved with, like making windchimes, butterfly feeders and things.
Looking forward to many postings from you.
Hugs!
Nat

To my precious friend Nat,

Says you!! Do you know: I am the person I am today simply fom knowing you. I have grown mentally and positively since being your friend. Thank you for all your inspiration.

When you have people come to stay, often you can't wait to have them leave. Maybe this is partly because with some people, values and direction in life is varstly different - in fact in some cases - world's apart. With you this is completely different and I am so incredibly comforable around you. Thank you for never judging me, my thoughts or lack of knowledge. You are such a patient person and I can only hope my boys are blested with such a unique teacher when they begin schooling. I sincerely hope your students know how incredibly lucky they are. Silly thing to say really, cause I'm sure they do.

As for Aden, well, he hasn't erased you from his Christmas list, however, he is refusing to buy you anything new!!

Buy the way, do others see see these comments?

Hey everyone,

Thanx for all your comments. Now I know you're really out there, I'd betta get cracking!!

I have not yet strayed outside today as the weather is extremely yuk here and I am a woose without Nat! I'm sorry I didn't begin this garden earlier as I would have a great crop of thyme by now and could sooth my own sore throat which my gorgeous boys very lovingly gave to me. Another lesson learn't. Haha

Hi Jen - yes everyone can see these comments but you can always erase them by clicking on the little grey bin at the end of them, or edit them by going to your dashboard section and clicking on edit.

I think you should change your blog name. At this rate 'Ode to Nat' would be more fitting!

Thrilled to hear I'm getting nothing new for christmas! Do you know since we mentioned this idea to Annette and Ken - they agreed and are doing the same, and so is Gwyn and Ray too, and my parents agreed to it too (in between a skeptical glance at each other)- though didn't say they were happy to receive the same. But hey - a large portion of the family on board - Yay! Now I'm really excited about shopping. What fun scanning garage sales and salvage yards!!!

Chat soon X

Hi Nat,

Miss you already. You'll be pleased to know that we've completed another two gardens today and planted in one. Trying to decide on where to plant our snow peas at moment.

Enjoy your first day back at school tomorrow!

For those of you interested in self sustainability and who missed the 60 minutes epidose last week, I strongly recommend that you visit the site, go to the 'story transcripts' and click on "People Power".

Mike Reynolds is an architect. He can make a home that makes its own electricity, harvest its own water, contain and treat its own sewage, heat and cool itself, use by-products of the world, produce food.
